Featured Fact: Scott's Timeline

Scott was asked about the events of December 24th many times. We have assembled a timeline of what "Scott said" to 18 different sources. These sources include a videotaped interview with the police, an interview with a Department of Justice agent, wire tapped phone calls where Scott did not know he was being recorded, conversations with police officers, a media interview and casual conversation.

This was not a rote story he told over and over from beginning to end in the same order. He told various people different pieces of what he did that day and all those pieces fit together perfectly with no contradiction. His story never changed, and over time, many of his statements were proven to be true.

Each entry of what "Scott said" is followed by "Featured Facts". These "Featured Facts" are undisputed and either support what "Scott said" or add information to the timeline from sources other than Scott. The "Featured Facts" include court room testimony, photographs, computer use, cell phone use and other exhibits from the trial, as well as common knowledge.

Not only does this timeline show how truthful Scott was about the events of December 23rd and 24th, but it shows the lack of opportunity he had to commit the crime he's been convicted of.

Note:
There has been a lot said about the case against Scott being circumstantial. We want to share with you the judge's instructions on how circumstances are to legally be interpreted:

"If the circumstantial evidence as to any particular count permits two reasonable interpretations, one of which points to the defendant's guilt and the other to his innocence, you must adopt that interpretation that points to the defendant's innocence and reject that interpretation that points to his guilt.
If on the other hand, if one interpretation of this evidence appeared to you to be reasonable, and the other interpretation to be unreasonable, you must accept the reasonable interpretation and reject the unreasonable."

We assert, and evidence shows, that what "Scott said" is true. Not only is it true, but it is also reasonable.
